BAATAR

This outfit was born from the idea of a feminine warrior or hero. Baatar is a Mongolian word. This combination of red and brown together make a noticeable impression.

INTO THE WILD

A long jacket or coat, the idea was born from hunters using many pelts to create one piece. This coat can be made in leather or cloth.

KESTANE JACKET

A chestnut coloured jacket, inspired by those rich brown conkers that we all love and collect. The intensity of the chestnut dries and shrivels. But this jacket will retain its glorious beauty.

AMANITA

A practical warm dress which was drawn after a walk in the deep forest where the sudden rush off red mushrooms hide in the autumn leaves. A classy dress with vibrant red design.

DREAMSCAPE

This long evening dress is indeed a pathway to a dream., as was the initial inspiration. It’s unique and intricate fabric pattern, made only for Lavender Hands, is in rich purples and browns. This dress is, in fact, a dream come true.

BELLE DAME

This design was inspired by the beautiful Bell sleeves with ties that were worn by refined ladies in medieval times. This idea was copied from the clergy who wore wide bell sleeves.but it became a popular feature for womens’ clothing. It also, of course , means "beautiful lady."

QUOLL

This dress was inspired by seeing a Quoll, a cute small speckled creature on the endangered list, from the Antipodes.

HAVLAMAK

A design that I realised looking at the beautiful barks on different trees. Winter is leafless and can be dark, but looking closer I found the intricate patterns that are so easy to miss in full green summer.

SHOW STOPPER

Exactly what I wanted to create, something to make people stop and look again. The idea of something very different and unique for a party or a special event.
